Frou Frou - Beneteau First Class 10

The brothers Andre, Joost and Erik Wijngaarden bought Frou Frou during the Summer of 2007. They found her in Drimmelen, Holland, which may be a small town but has one of the largest marinas in West-Europe, which is where she had sailed from for a number of years after being imported from France (hence her FRA sail numbers).

Although they say they are new to the whole sailing thing and have only just started racing at Den Helder they have already won two small second prizes. In one series they got line honours in all four heats.

They are currently re-wiring her, fitting a 'fridge down below and looking forwards to getting a new mainsail.

June 2009 Update. Erik tells us that the new mainsail has arrived and the latest pics show they are giving her a new bottom (in the pics I have of the bottom job you can see that she's getting new gel coat).
