Stephen Jones bought Mirage in August 2005 from Eastbourne - she had been hitherto in Chichester since she was new in 1984. Stephen is only her second owner and sails Mirage out of Dover under the burgee of the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club.

He says he has not had much time to sail her yet but competed in the cruiser class at Ramsgate Week in 2006 scoring a couple of 2nds. He has also cruised across to France from Dover.

Recently she has been out of the water to have her keel dropped to replace the bolts. Stephen has also refurbed the engine, fitted two-battery electrics, replaced the standing rigging and fitted a Profurl R350.
